Having run a vehicle,
say several thousand miles, you may notice that the engine is
creaking along even when you go pedal to the metal. A check with your
auto mechanic may reveal that the fuel lines are being clogged by
carbon deposits. Much like cholesterol deposits in arteries that can
be detrimental to a heart, such carbon buildup threatens to have the
engine perform less than desired, leading to decreased fuel economy
or less than optimal performance. As such, you need a fuel
injector cleaner to get the lines clear again.
